Will Knight (he/him)
As a young Product Designer Will Knight felt he’d taken a wrong turn. Since then his career has zig-zagged through a multitude of media, styles and sectors; from the creation of the Aquafresh ‘Little Teeth’ toothbrush range, through murals for global brands, and to the character design of ‘PUNYO’, a soft, humanoid robot, with Toyota Research Institute.
More recently he has created storyboards and art for film and kid’s TV animation (Miffy, Digby Dragon, Rastamouse), and produced and directed a series of short animated films which explore the role of robotics in elderly care.
In completing the MA in Children’s Book Illustration, Will believes he is back on the right path, and hopes that it leads him and his friendly, adventurous characters to a wider audience.
