Simona Massa (she/her)
Ciao! My name is Simona. I’m an illustrator, storyteller and graphic designer with a background in branding and advertising. I come from the wonderful city of Naples (Italy), but I have been living in London since 2006.
In 2021, I decided to pursue my dream of writing and illustrating children’s books, enrolling into the Orange Beak Picturebook Week, followed by the CSA Summer School and, finally, the MA.
I define my work as mixed media, as it includes a combination of wet and dry materials, as well as traditional and digital tools. I enjoy creating simple, dynamic, shape-based illustrations that communicate clearly and stir emotions.
