Shum Ka Ki (she/her)
Ka Ki holds a BA in visual communication, specializing in Illustration, and shehas worked as a project-based contract illustrator for multiple educational publishers in Hong Kong. Ka Ki enjoys using both traditional media like gouache and ink, as well as digital tools, based on the story she wishes to convey.
Since picture books serve as an excellent medium for introducing conceptual ideas such as love in a subtle and tender manner, Ka Ki always aims to create heartwarming and faithful stories. Besides fiction, she loves creating illustrations for non-fiction content, mostly about food culture and animals worldwide.
