I'm an author/illustrator living near Cambridge with my husband and son. I have a background in marketing and publishing but after attending a Children's Book Illustration summer school a few years ago, I was inspired to create picture books
In 2019, I won the Faber Fab Prize for Illustration with my picture book Megan's Cat, and in 2023 my first picture book, Blue was published by Faber.
I enjoy writing and illustrating stories that talk about emotions in a way that's accessible, inclusive and engaging: reflecting a child's real-life experience of the world.
Alongside my children's book work, I also volunteer with EmpathyLab - an organisation that guides schools, libraries, parents and carers to build children’s empathy skills through their engagement with books.
