Naomi Tipping (she/her)
Naomi is an illustrator and lecturer based in Nottingham, UK. She graduated with a degree in illustration over 20 years ago and worked mainly as an editorial illustrator for ten years. After a long break to have her three children she enrolled on the MA, where she enjoyed immersing herself in the world of picture books and developing a more painterly, immediate and playful visual language.
Naomi likes experimenting with unlikely materials in her work. She loves sunsets, shadows and reflections and her work is inspired by relationships, living in the city, and everyday observations. She enjoys tackling difficult subjects, in a warm and accessible way, as well as making silly, things that make people smile.
