Marina is an Illustrator and Graphic Designer from Germany. She worked as a designer in the editorial industry for many years before pursuing her passion for creating and illustrating children’s books. Growing up surrounded by nature and animals shaped her artistic style and continues to inspire her illustrations, which connect with the miraculous world around us.

Marina enjoys experimenting with various techniques, including painting, collage, and printmaking. During her MA in Children’s Book Illustration, she had the opportunity to explore printmaking in greater depth, particularly monoprint. She is drawn to the playful, unpredictable nature of this medium, which adds texture, color, and an element of surprise to her work.

Marina loves traveling and finds inspiration in new experiences. Working alongside inspiring tutors and students from around the world has made her MA journey truly unique.
