Marguerite Davidson (she/her)

Marguerite Davidson is an illustrator and filmmaker from sunny California. She graduated from San Diego State University with degrees in both Fine Art and Film Production, and has been delighted to discover that children’s book illustration is the perfect combination of her two passions.

Her experimentation during the MA has solidified a love for creating both picturebooks and graphic novels. The books she makes are filled with warmth, silliness, and extremely cheeky animals. She is most passionate about creating stories and characters that make people laugh!

Her current favourite media is screenprinting, followed closely by collage, watercolour, and making scribbly drawings with a dip pen and ink.
