Lydia Zhang (she/her)
Lydia Zhang is a Chinese illustrator and studied Children's Book Illustration at Anglia Ruskin University. She likes to show the magical world in her imagination through the drawing of narratives, rich textures and playful colours.
She enjoys creating many richly coloured textures and backgrounds in watercolour and acrylic ink through wet paper, as well as creating strong graphic effects in acrylic gouache.
She is most interested in combining many different materials to create and experiment with her images. For observing and recording the world she likes to use sketchbooks to draw with the materials available around her. Her work covers book covers, children's books, packaging and more.
