Lorraine Ansell (she/her)
Hi, I’m Lorraine, an illustrator living in London. I love bringing my own memories and observational drawing into my work, whilst exploring the quirkiness of characters and sense of place.
I can often be found in the print room, experimenting with layers, textures, and particularly the Riso machine. I am happiest using separation techniques in my work and love the accidental misprints and marks that can be created.
Born and raised in London I am still always amazed by the city and its heritage which is reflected in some of my work. I love nothing more than a day spent there sketching with friends.
Now that I have completed the Masters, I am looking forward to exploring new narratives, characters, and world building, where anything is possible.
