Lauren Sharples is a UK based illustrator and printmaker. She joined this MA program after completing a degree in Illustration at Leeds Arts University in 2023, intending to specialise in creating children's books.
Lauren’s stories are influenced by personal memories and characters in her life. Lauren uses traditional printmaking techniques to create her books and incorporates recycled materials, such as tetra pak and reused paper, to craft images rich with layers and texture.
