Kanako Wakabayashi (she/her)

Hello! I’m Kanako from Japan. My inspirations most often come from nature. Its beauty always inspires me to create art and takes my imagination somewhere beyond what is visible in this world. I imagine wind fairies sculpting the clouds, little elves travelling down a river on a leaf boat, merfolks’ kingdom at the bottom of the sea, etc. I have always enjoyed writing stories and painting pictures of my fantasies. I also love fantasy literature and fairytales and how they draw beautiful images in my mind. It excites me most when I manage to visualise those visions in tangible forms.
