Jingxuan Yang (she/her)
Jingxuan is an illustrator and designer from China. Her works usually inspire by some attractive clips in daily life. But sometimes it’s hard to describe the scenes she saw in words, so drawing is definitely a good way for her to record the moments.
She usually uses a combination of watercolor, gouache and soft pastel to explore the possibilities of a picture. Sometimes she uses digital painting to more efficiently complete the early stages of her work, such as sketches and storyboards. But in the end, she basically uses a hand-made approach to the creative part of the work, because she believes that this kind of randomly generated result is what makes art so fascinating.
