Hello everyone! My name is Jen. I’m based in Birmingham, UK and I’m half English and half Filipino.
I work mainly using mono-printing, paints, pencil, pastels and Procreate. My subject matter does include a lot of dogs, but I love drawing everything! Even if it comes as a challenge, the learning brings half the fun (I’m sure we’ve all laughed at our first attempts at drawing hands).
My work has been called “exuberant” by Martin Salisbury (I had to googled what that meant) and “quirky magic” by Pam Smy, which basically means I have won children’s book illustration.
When I’m not creating, I’m usually squealing over dogs, playing video games, listening to audio books and going on hikes with my Goose (whose my dog).
