Jen-Ai Elena Molineaux (she/her)
Hello! I’m Jen-Ai, a colombian-french-chilean illustrator now living in the UK.
Learning is one of my biggest joys. Besides a bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication Design, I did studies on Character Design and Concept Art, Scientific Illustration, and now a Masters in Children’s Book Illustration.
I love making stories about friendship and imagination, drawing inspiration from my own surroundings, my family, friends, and the colours of my home-country, Colombia.
When I’m not drawing or testing new materials, I’m learning about bookbinding, paper engineering, storyboarding and writing (to name a few interests), which always end up inspiring my work as an illustrator.
In my free time I enjoy helping with service projects in my community. I volunteer as a Baháí children’s class teacher on the weekends, and participate in diverse community building activities.
