Ifiyenia Kamperi (she/her)
Hello! I am a children's book illustrator based in Athens, Greece.
I have collaborated with Greek publishing houses since 2017, having illustrated ten books. One of my books has been listed in the White Raven 2019 catalogue, while another received the EVGE Award for Book Illustration in the 2021 Greek Visual Communication Design Awards.
I enjoy creating quirky, expressive characters and playful, fun stories. In the bookmaking process, I combine different media like pencils, ink, gouache, collage and digital drawing. During the MA course in CSA, I had the opportunity to experiment with new, exciting techniques, like printmaking, and take my skills further.
My plan for the future is to keep drawing and making picture books.
