Gianne Amparo (she/her)

Gianne Amparo is a freelance illustrator currently based in Cambridge. Her illustration work draws inspiration from her homeland of the Philippines, childhood memories, and everyday observations she records in her sketchbook.

She graduated with a BA (Hons) degree in Illustration from the Arts University of Bournemouth in 2017, afterwards pursuing the MA in Children’s Book Illustration at the Cambridge School of Art. It was here she discovered her love for offset mono-printing and creating textures.

Some of her favourite materials include colouring pencils, acrylic and pastels to create a soft quality to her work. As well as drawing, her hobbies include cycling, reading and making ceramics.
