Deniz is an illustrator based in London. After earning an MSc in Atmospheric Sciences, she worked as a researcher in Istanbul for a decade before deciding to pursue her dream of illustration. She recently completed Children's Book Illustration MA.

Deniz loves the flexibility of digital tools and the freedom of traditional media, often combining both in her creative practice. Experimenting with different materials and sketchbook play are her favorite parts of being an illustrator. Small, everyday moments and nature are her greatest inspirations, and she enjoys creating whimsical scenes full of color and texture.

Every image has a unique story for Deniz, and she loves discovering it with her eyes, ears, and paint-covered fingers. In her spare time, she enjoys taking walks with a sketchbook and treasure-hunting at local bookshops.
