Cynthia Zhuang (she/her)

Cynthia Zhuang is an illustrator from China.  She finished her BA in Textile Design from the China Academy of Art in 2022. In 2025, Cynthia completed her MA in Children’s Book Illustration at the Cambridge School of Art. She loves working with bright colors and enjoys creating illustrations using a limited color palette.

Her work often focuses on illustrating characters, using textures and lines to capture their emotions and expressions. She also enjoys drawing plants, simplifying and transforming them into patterns. Cynthia hopes her illustrations can make picture books engaging and appealing to readers.

Cynthia loves travelling, music, and photography. Sketching and photographing during her travels not only helps her relax but also gives her fresh inspiration for her work.
