Hello, I’m Anastasia. I have been drawing ever since I remember. I love drawing and making art. I have a background in Fine Art, Painting and studied at Central Saint Martins.
During the exploratory stage in the MA Children’s Book Illustration course at ARU, I have discovered a love of making collages. I have spent some time experimenting making marks in the print room at ARU. I have created all the papers and textures I used in my illustration using mono printing techniques.
I am looking forward to spending the rest of my life making books for children and enjoying nature.

This picture book is illustrating the poem, The Quangle Wangle’s Hat which is written by a famous artist and poet, called Edward Lear. It’s about the lonely Quangle Wangle who becomes happy again when animals come to live on his giant hat.
