Hi! I’m Allyson, an American artist and illustrator living in the UK.
After growing up in Oklahoma, I decided to take a leap of faith and move across the world to study children’s book illustration. My mother was a librarian, and I grew up in a house full of books and magic, which I try to reflect in my work.
I find my inspiration in old fairytales, antique shops, and anywhere I’ve traveled lately. I love working with complementary colors and limited palettes to stretch my creativity.
When I’m not creating, you can usually find me sipping an afternoon tea, watching romantic comedies, or hopping on a train to London!
