Hi, I'm Ales Chen from Taiwan. I am passionate about drawing, photography, and anything that warms the heart, such as food and picture books. If you explore my photography and sketchbook, you'll quickly notice my enthusiasm for these two elements. Since I studied for my master's degree at CSA, I've dedicated more time to wielding a paintbrush than a camera. Generally, I favour dry media over wet media, and my line work often captivates more attention than my coloured pieces.

Picture books have always been my favourite genre to read. I particularly enjoy scrutinizing the details within the illustrations, akin to a treasure hunt, making each reading experience enjoyable. Picture books with unpredictable plot twists especially attract me. I revel in ones that can be read repeatedly, aspiring to create stories that captivate readers and leave them wanting more.
